Who is the “Main Registrant” and what does “Main Registrant” mean?
From our invitation, “each Main Registrant shall invite and be accompanied by a guest.” The Main Registrant’s guest can be from any high school! The guest does not have to attend your school and does not have to be in the same class as the Main Registrant. The guest is any gender!

Who can be the Main Registrant’s guest?
From our invitation, “each Main Registrant shall invite and be accompanied by a guest.” The Main Registrant’s guest can be from any high school! The guest does not have to attend your school and does not have to be in the same class as the Main Registrant. The guest is any gender!

Why do we need all the info for the 1) guest, 2) guest’s parent and 3) Main Registrant’s parent?
First, we need the contact info for each as we need the guest’s name for our check-in lists for each Charity Ball: we need the contact info for all three, so we can send reminders concerning our events, inform them about any changes such as a snow cancellation and we always need the info for emergency purposes. Just as schools ask for emergency contact info from parents, so do we in the event of a child who becomes ill at our event or anything else that might occur.

Does all contact info for guests, guest parents, and Main Registrant parents have to be in the Main Registrant’s account by November 19, 2023?
Technically AND for the benefit of our co-registrars, we do ask that all info be in the Main Registrant’s account by November 19, 2023. Our co-registrars have to go through each account to make sure all “informed consents and waivers” are completed. Remember we are a separate non-profit organization and are not affiliated with the schools, so we need to have all contact info, and informed consents and waivers from each individual for our records. If all the info is not in each registration by November 19th, it must be in each registration ASAP!! No one can wait until the week of each Ball as that is not fair for our registrars, nor the registration process.

Can a Main Registrant change their guest?
Yes, the Main Registrant can change their guest before or after the close of registration. However, if the guest does change, the Main Registrant must go to their account on our website and make the changes which include the new guest and the new guest’s parent!

What is the DRESS CODE for the Charity Balls?
The required dress policy as is in the invitation black-tie tuxedos, long gowns and gender inclusive formal attire. However, tuxedos and bow ties can be any color; long gowns can be any color and gender inclusive attire can be any color!

However, NO JEANS (ANY COLOR)!
PLEASE Visit our website at: www.thecountyassemblies.org and click on the tab: “ATTIRE” at the top of our homepage for examples of all formal wear!
